Jo runs various small cake decoration workshops and sugarcraft classes at her studio in Wiltshire throughout the year. There is a maximum of 4 people per class.  Camper van cake: : Sat 1st April 2017 9am-5pm £95 per person FULLY BOOKED

You will learn how to carve the cake into the iconic vw split screen campervan, fill and mask cake with buttercream, how to cover a shaped cake without cracks, tears or creases and how to decorate. You will learn how make and add accessories to the camper. We will also ice the cake board this will either be sand, grass or stones. I will show you how to achieve each different ground covering for you to choose from.


Piping skills and royal icing workshop:  Sat 29th April 2017 10am-4pm £70 per person 

You will be shown how to prepare perfect royal icing. You will be given your own iced cake dummy that you will then decorate with piped spots, stripes & swags, filigree lace, piped plain shell boarder, brush embroidery and an inscription.




Sharp edge icing:   Tues 11th April 6pm-9pm or Wed 3rd May 2017 6pm-9pm

Great for beginners or those wanting to learn the tricks of the trade of how make and use ganache as a base for the most perfectly iced cake. You will then learn how ice a cake with sugarpaste to create the enviable sharp edge.

Roses: new dates to be announced

In this 3hr course you will learn how to create giant vintage style sugar roses and leaves. Also how to create smaller roses perfect for cupcakes.



 Country garden flowers workshop:  new dates to be announced

You will learn how to make a variety of pretty summer blooms ideal for a wedding or special celebration cake. These will include a large old fashioned rose, hypericum berries, sweet peas, lisianthus and rose leaves.





Chocolate wrap cake and chocolate truffles:  New dates to be announced

Perfect for Valentine’s day. You will learn how to make ganache. Then fill and cover chocolate cake with it. You will learn how to temper chocolate (melt without causing chocolate to bloom) I will then show you how wrap the chocolate around the cake for a truly sumptuous finish. We will make hand rolled chocolate truffles and dip these in tempered chocolate then decorate with piped chocolate designs. These will then be used to adorn the cake. You will be supplied with recipes and how to instructions to recreate the cake.
